Zach Starnes is a general practice attorney whose areas of practice include estate planning and administration, corporate and business law, contract and commercial law, and general business transactions. Zach has extensive experience drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney, and routinely assists clients with the administration of estates and various other probate matters, including representing individuals, personal representatives and trustees in probate litigation. He also regularly advises businesses and individuals on a wide range of issues, including entity selection and formation, governance and general operating issues, contract drafting and review, mergers and acquisitions and general employment law matters.

Zach joined the firm in 2012 after receiving his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he was an editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. Prior to attending law school, he received his undergraduate degree and M.B.A. from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Zach is married to Kelli, who was born and raised in Decatur and graduated from Austin High School, and they have three children – Cooper, Carter and Adeline.
